Making a Difference, On the Course and Off

Regardless of the sport, professional athletes have many things in common. A love of competition, a certain tenacity, a drive to win. Unfortunately, many athletes also live with chronic discomfort due to sports-related injuries. Professional golfer J.L. Lewis is no exception. Playing professionally for over 25 years and currently playing on The Champions Tour, this professional golfer with two PGA TOUR victories has learned to live with his golf-induced injuries. Then he was introduced to Amega.

"Our friends Bruce and Shoshana Painter told us about Amega. Bruce knew what my physical issues and limitations were and he thought the products could help me. I bought the AMWand right away and a short time later I purchased the business pack after attending a demo."

JL says since using Amega products he has noticed less discomfort and improved balance and endurance. In addition to regular use of the AMWand, he wears the AMPendant and a Bio-Energetic Bracelet almost non-stop.

"It's pretty amazing, but since wearing and using the products I've noticed I have not had any challenges in the past year," JL says.

JL and his wife, Dawn, had no experience with network marketing prior to Amega. With the intense traveling schedule required of a pro golfer, the couple has little time to actively work the business right now, but say they are definitely considering it as a full time prospect once JL retires from the tour circuit. And while not motivated by money, JL says helping people is what excites him most about Amega.

"We have a worldwide health problem today and it feels good to help people feel better and perform at optimum levels," he explains. "This is an awesome company and an awesome opportunity."

JL notes that Dawn currently manages their Amega business, even doing mini product demos on the golf course. In observing his growing customer base, JL says one lesson he's learned is not to pre-judge who will be interested and who won't.

"We've talked to people who we were sure would sign up who didn't, and others who seemed unlikely to be interested who did. So you just never know."

JL says right from the start Amega's global vision and mission resonated with him - factors that greatly influenced his decision to get involved with the company from a business perspective and not just as a customer.

"We’ve always been pretty health conscious, taking vitamins and supplements and focusing on prevention rather than trying to cure something later,” he says. “When you look around, you see how few people are really health conscious in this country and I think Amega is one answer to raising that level of consciousness."

The management team at Amega also made a positive impression on JL, who says that the level of integrity he saw flowing from the top down helped solidify his decision to become part of the Amega family.

"Youcef Benloucif and all the people at the top are doing a really good job as far as promoting the products and supporting the Business Associates. Everyone within the Amega organization is knowledgeable and reliable – in my opinion they are doing everything right. That was definitely an attraction for me."

As for immediate goals within the Amega organization, JL says his focus is pretty straightforward.

"To wear the products for my own health and well being and to pass on the information and sign up anybody who is interested in going on this journey with us."
